Sacha Henchman, Principal and Co-Founder
Sacha earned BS & MS degrees in civil engineering from Stanford University & a professional license in environmental engineering before being drawn into the construction field by a love for the tangible built environment.

Before co-founding Stingray Builders in 2007, Sacha cut his teeth as a carpenter on numerous full-gut San Francisco victorian remodeling projects. He brings an engineer's eye to technical problem solving, as well as a penchant for organization & efficiency to the construction process. Once a competitive cyclist, Sacha enjoys restoring vintage Schwinn Stingray bicycles & has turned his carpentry skills to custom camper van conversion to provide refuge during outdoor adventures.

Jeff Couture, Principal and Co-Founder
Before co-founding Stingray Builders, Jeff found success running his own custom cabinet shop, but his love for building goes back further still. Starting when he was just eight years old, Jeff spent most of his afternoons developing his carpentry skills converting whatever materials he could salvage from the neighborhood into clubhouses & tree forts. In the intervening years he worked in various project management roles in both corporate and construction settings. His cumulative experience yields a unique combination of technical and management expertise.

Jeff graduated from Dartmouth College with a BA in Engineering Sciences in 1994 and a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1995.

Jeff is a BuildItGreen Certified Green Building Professional
